**Pet's only NO FEEDER'S**
We breed our rats for pets only, We will not consider selling any of
our babies as feeders or as breeders for feeders. We do
understand that other animals have to eat just like any living thing
however they will not eat a CWR rat! Please do not even ask.

Rats need Friends & Family
Rats are social animals and need constant companionship. We do
not adopt out single rats, unless you have a similar age and sex rat
at home for a companion. It is usually easier on the new babies if
they leave with a brother or sister,
it often helps them adjust to their new home easier!

Rats need a Safe, Healthy Home
Rats do best in wire cages do to having better ventilation. We do
require that before you take your CWR rat's home you have a home
all set up for you new babies. This includes safe bedding (No Pine
or Cedar). We use Good Mews & Yesterdays News. These work
well for us and the rats. You will need a water bottle, food dish,
hide box and toys for your new little ones.
Here the sample of the food mix I make up, It is very simple to mix
up. Most can be bought from the local grocery bulk bins If you
choose to continue to use this mix for your new rats.

**Part of the family No matter how small**
Please Remember that even though rats are not a long term pet,
they should get the same kind of treatment as a dog, cat or any
other non human member of your family. You should have a good
relationship with a vet in your area, you never know when the time
will come that vet care is needed. It is better to be prepared then to
have to scramble to find one after a problem has started.
